I just could not work out what the problem was so I deleted from the device manager list and rebooted,it seemed to work as it reloaded the drivers and was able to play DVD's again,alas after 2 mins it stopped again and never worked since I have been to the Pioneer website for updated drivers but cant find them, I have searched on Drivers guide and all I can find are drivers for DVD now I dont know if they are compatable.
What gets me is the fact that the XP drivers were ok at first, thats what making me think there is a different problem.
