Brb, re-watching Final Destination again to escape the rest of the crew, and almost manages to hide the heroine successfully. Or something. Oh well, happy ending.
You study to become a doctor and get revenge on the man who killed your mother. My rating: General thoughts: Oh my god — something with an actual plot for once! She gets time to shine! And shine she does. Also, each guy also now has two routes, it branches off at chapter 6 or was it 8?
Sezaki My rating:. Sezaki is the main guy in Kiss of Revenge. He is quite the unusual main guy due to not being a gigantic tsundere asshole, but instead he is more indifferent to the heroine. Her interactions with Sezaki is stiff and awkward, due to not actually being into Sezaki but pretending instead. Together they perform a few surgeries, and the heroine has to begrudgingly admit that Sezaki is a really good surgeon and doctor, but that his father still needs to die.
When they perform a surgery on someone who had the same disease as her mother, both the heroine and Sezaki tense up. Sezaki looks troubled before going into surgery, and the heroine keeps thinking of her mother, but she pulls through, and encourages Sezaki to go through with it as well. Sezaki and the heroine sort of start to date.
Yup, it was Sezaki who killed her mother, and not his father, Sezaki was the actual surgeon which is creepy, because the heroine was only like 12 years old when her mother died, such an age gap!
This is the part where the story can branch off. She goes through with her plan to kill Sezaki, and starts thinking of ways to do it. Because Sezaki has trouble sleeping at night and uses sleeping pills, the heroine manages to get the same kind and puts poison inside of it instead.
She tries to swap his medicine for the poison, but pretty much fails at it, and Sezaki suspiciously notes this. Eventually, he invites her to his apartment, where he falls asleep against the couch. Sezaki then opens his eyes, and tells her to do it. I forgot how it went down exactly, but the heroine forgives him after a while, and Sezaki helps confront his father about the cover up. Then they stay as a working couple in the hospital saving lives.
When Sezaki calls the heroine about his notebook, she confesses to everything. I also forgot what happened here exactly, but Sezaki comes and visits her in America and they kiss. I guess they have a long distance relationship?
Either way, this ending sucked. It should have just stuck with the first plot, and have the heroine struggle to love the man who killed her mother. Junpei My rating:. Junpei is your childhood friend that used to have a crush on you … and still is madly in love with you even 12 years later, I guess he never moved on , and he works for your hospital as some kind of medical supplier.
Honestly, Junpei as a guy is pretty lackluster, because Voltage botches up every single childhood friend storyline. They focus too much on having the heroine and her childhood friend reminisce about old memories. Voltage, get your game together, and start writing some quality childhood friends! Oh my god, I love her. For once! She is very cold and closed off to everyone around her despite everyone trying to be her friend , and even blows off Junpei every once in a while.
Either way, this is basically how he got so rich and famous. Of course, he comes to her rescue. Then they live happily ever after.
He seems like a lot of fun to play! He gives you a job … you have to pretend to be the wife of one of his friends! This is one of the few times the writing is believable, and it really does feel like the characters are falling in love with each other. The game also has a lot to offer in terms of sequels and side stories, definitely check it out!
Yamato My rating:. Yamato is the main guy in this game, which means he makes snide remarks towards the heroine and treats her like general crap most of the time.
He gets quite embarrassed around you as well during some situations. In the beginning he was quite fun to be around, as he was less bullying the heroine and leaned more towards teasing to which she responded , but in my opinion, his personality did a at the last part of the story, proclaiming he was already in love with her. It felt really rushed, so I took points off from that. Yamato is also another guy with daddy issues. His father left his mother when she was pregnant, so he resents the dude for abandoning them.
Yeah right. Yuta My rating:. As you can see, he is my favourite guy out of them all — yes, even beating Alan Pirates In Love. His route is sweet and romantic, and I genuinely feel like Yuta fell in love with the heroine for a reason, and not just because he was forced to due to writing.
He is a comedian, not really famous but popular enough. Through a twist of fate, you help him save his career by pretending to be his wife … on a TV show.
Yuta likes to blog about the food that you make for him, and helps you out with household chores. Sooner or later, you both become accustomed to this life and fall in love. Yuta, like all guys, has a sob story too. He is part of a comedian duo, and his partner has been hospitalized. While his partner is out of business, Yuta tries to work hard on his own to make a name for the both of them, but his partner is re-considering being a comedian. Yuta asks you to marry him for real at the end.
Kyoichi My rating:. Most of the time, Kyoichi is a snob and pretentious, but otherwise a stand-up kind of guy. He first treats you very professional-like, but as you spend more time together, he slips up every now and then, and gets all worried about you, showing you he does care albeit in a very emotionless face, hah. Okay then. He makes you live in his apartment, which is big and spacious, and a bit lonely, too. Like the fact he likes putting marshmallows into his hot chocolate.
And anyone who does that, is kind of immediately awesome in my book. They all hate him, and Kyoichi carries himself surprisingly well amongst the barricade of constant insults flung at his face.
They do find out the whole marriage is a scam, but he gets to keep the house anyway, and asks the heroine to be his girlfriend. I want to note that most of the dialogue options you got were bullshit options.
Like … what? In Your Arms Tonight Description: You have a shitty husband from an arranged marriage who cheats on you, so you fall into the arms of another man that you meet at your highschool reunion. My rating: General thoughts: This is the most depressing game out of them all, hence the low rating.
You want to punch the husband in the anus and skewer him on top of a spike because of the way he treats her. Kippei My rating:. To be honest, I regularly confuse him with Katsuragi My Sweet Bodyguard not only do they look identical, their personalities are hard to distinguish from each other as well.
Voltage needs to work on character design and personality a bit more instead of rehashing the same thing. Anyways, Kippei is a sweet guy.
After spending the night together because of a storm, Kippei realizes he loves you and even ends up confronting your husband. Soji My rating:. Thank god for this route, honestly. In this route, the story opens up how the heroine was packing her bags — she has divorced her husband already. The heroine focuses on work instead, and wants to commission Soji, who makes ceramics.
He had a huge crush on you when you were both in high school he is super cute in the flashbacks, and even cries , but never got to act on it or say anything because the heroine was dating his brother, Genji at the time. You bond with him through silence as you help him out at his studio. The sob story here is that Genji is a cockblocker, and half the route is about him. Genji loves the heroine still much like Soji does , so he tries to get her to go out with him again.
This depresses the heroine for months, until she finally seeks Soji out again, and tells him that she loves him. I really liked it, despite the overuse of ellipses and the many scenes involving Genji. You get a hot bodyguard to protect you at all times. My rating: General thoughts: This game marks the point when Voltage finally decided to fix the resolution of their graphics.
They also changed the interface, and you can easily look at old CGs again without having to replay the story. I feel like they missed a huge opportunity here. Kaji My rating:. When Kaji was first introduced to me, the heroine said that he seemed familiar, and then said she knew him when they were kids — he used to bully her. Eagerly, I picked him. The heroine lied to me, fuck. I wanted a childhood bully to be my bodyguard! So anyways, Kaji is your childhood friend, and treats you like an idiot most of the time.
He also likes to mention you have no sex appeal. What a dick. Katsuragi My rating:. Same looks, same type of personality. The only exception here is that the heroine turns all gross and is hopelessly in love with him, and keeps whining how they should be together.
My Sweet Bodyguard medieval style, but actually done right. The stories are light hearted and fun, and you get to have a pet on most stories.
